Federal prosecutors have filed criminal charges against embattled Rep. George Santos, CNN reported late Tuesday.
CNN said the charges have been filed under seal and the New York Republican is expected to appear in federal court Wednesday. Other media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, later confirmed the report.
