Here are some of the biggest U.S. stock movers on Friday:

Stock gainers:

  • Right-wing media platforms Rumble RUM, +0.54% and Digital World Acquisition DWAC, -0.23% rose over 14% and 10% in premarket trading on the Donald Trump indictment news.
  • Metropolitan Bank Holding Corp. MCB, -27.58% shares increased almost 14% premarket after issuing a financial update assuring investors that it is well-capitalized. The regional lender closed 27% down on Thursday.
  • Palisade Bioโ€™s PALI, +57.74% stock soared 36% during Friday premarket trading continuing a Thursday rally after Maxim Group upgraded the stock from hold to buy.
  • Spero Therapeutics SPRO, -0.69% rose almost 14% after the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company posted fourth quarterly revenue of $47.4 million in 2022, higher than the $2.7 million reaped in the same period the year prior. The uplift was due to the companyโ€™s signings with GSK and Pfizer.
