(Kevin Whiteley, HeadlineUSA) While Donald Trump has been largely absent from participating in ongoing debates with other, 2024 candidates, he joined roughly 20,000 people at Saturday nightโs Ultimate Fighting Championship 295 at Madison Square Gardens.
A recent controversy over the leagueโs decision to partner with Bud Light did not appear to have kept UFC from asserting its spot as the official sport of MAGA, with a number of conservative luminaries in attendance alongside the former president.
Among those in Trumpโs entourage were his son Donald Trump Jr., former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, musician Kid Rock and, of course, UFC President Dana White.
Carlson being in the mix further foreshadowed the possibility of a vice presidential nod, asย Trump alluded to during a recent interview on the Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.
Conservative pundit Benny Johnson had received 7.4K likes and roughly 273K views as of Sunday afternoon for a tweet captioned, โWatch this video. What do you see? All [I] see is Tucker as VP.โ

Don Jr. also set tongues wagging on Friday with a possible preview of Trumpโs selections for press secretary and attorney general, although nothing has yet been confirmed.
As the gentlemen entered the arena to Kid Rockโs โAmerican Badass,โ Trump was welcomed by the majority of spectators, , who were there to see Czechian Fighter Jiลรญ Prochรกzka battle Brazilian Alex Pereira for the light heavyweight title.
Even Joe Rogan, who was spotted among the crowd, took a moment to speak with Carlson.

However, two people appeared less than excited upon seeing the 2024 hopefulโstand-up comedian Bill Burr and his wife, actress Nia Renee Hill. (She even gave Trump the bird.)

The formerโand possibly futureโpresident let neither them nor other hecklers detract from his reported love for boxing and mixed martial arts, according to New York Post.
The UFC event will probably only boost Donald Trumpโs current polling, which has him at favorable odds against incumbent President Joe Biden.
He even beats Biden in a general election, according to the poll averages from RealClear Politics.
Itโs too early to speculate whether a Trump-Carlson dream ticket becomes reality, but itโs probably safe to say infinitely many would go all in on the duo.
